Not bad for the price.. Oct 20, 2008
By Jason R. Gonzalez I've had it for almost a week now and it hasn't died on me yet. When compared to the original NES though, it doesn't match in quality. The color is a little off and the music is slightly different from what you would hear on the original NES. The system is still playable and it won't take you 10 minutes to start a game (if your games are clean).
I also tested out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II on the system and the game suffers from this strange glitch. When I jump, I will sometimes disappear and then reappear somewhere else on screen. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's very annoying.
Nice little system and for $20, it's worth it. Especially if your original NES is giving you nothing but a blinking screen.
Good for playing games made before i was :) Sep 28, 2011
I got it today after i bought it a couple weeks ago, and iv'e tried out all the 5 games it comes with, and my favorite was the game "Hot Gun" where you use the light gun to shoot the 3 enemys all wearing masks. if you shoot a civilian (girl, scientist
etc.) you add 1+ ERROR if you have 3 errors, you lose. it is durable, so far it hasnt had a scratch (then again, i have only had it for an hour or so and the only way i know it isnt a piece of crap is because i dropped it XD) its realy fun, and my little sister like it, i just wish i had a few actual nintendo games like bayou billy or mario duck hunt. well i might save up and buy some later, or mabey ask for some for christmas.
overall, its a good system and i think you should get it, but dont press the slow button, all it does is press START over and over again.
