This item is good crystal, but the color is not a true puple. When it is in sunlight or incandecent light, it looks light purple, however, in the CFLs, it is light blue. If you want a true purple crystal that stays purple in any light, search for 40mm Swarovski Strass with Logo Blue Violet Crystal Ball. You will pay quite a bit more for the crystal, but the color is a deep purple. Remember, it has to say Blue Violet.

It is great that we can purchase a 40 mm. purple faceted crystal at this price. Very affordable. However, the color is not as saturated as pictured.

This crystal is pretty, but it looks more blue than purple. I was disappointed with the color but the crystal itself is pretty.
