Ordinarily I buy my crystals for incorporation into beaded sun catchers which I then sell. This one I'm keeping for myself. It's the first Swarovski etched logo product I have purchased. My husband had to get a magnifying glass out and found a small speck which we later learned was the S logo. :) The logo notwithstanding, this crystal is beautiful. I'll have to buy it in other colors.

"Rainy Day Girl"
I ordered this item for my mom. She just completed chemo and radiation therapy for cancer and moved back into her own place. She loves to hand prisms in her window and her favorite color is purple. This looked perfect. What a disappointment when it arrived. Item is much smaller than 30mm ( I have a couple of my own) and the color is not even close to purple. I would return it but the postage is more than the item so I'll just let others know that this was a bit of a rip.

Of course it's not real crystal, maybe plexiglass? But, it does a great job showing all the rainbow speckles when the sun shines through it... very pretty.

this is such a beautiful color of crystal, the rainbows are great!
the color of the crystal doesn't change the color of the rainbow much though like i was hoping. if it were more of a darker purple it would.
this is a great buy regardless and makes tons of beautiful rainbows.

I just had to write a review on this gorgeous prism because of the negative comments. Mine is amazing. It is a light lavender, much lighter than the photo, but when hung on a purple cord (mine) it brings out the color perfectly. It is heavy and 3x the size I was expecting. My other prism of the same shape was purchased locally for about 4x the price and it is a third the size.
I did not find flaws at the drill hole, just typical rough drilling making the glass look white etched in that spot. It is certainly not smooth and clear like the rest of the piece, but who cares? It is mostly covered up by the cord or whatever you hang it by (unless you hang from fishing line). I don't see it as a flaw, especially at this price.
Color, lighter than pictured.
Weight, heavy, definitely glass. I have a plastic one the same size and the difference is very obvious.
Ordered Friday night with Amazon Prime and got it Monday night. HELLO?!?! Don't you all sleep? PRIME ROCKS!
We purchased this prism to cast rainbows in honor of our newly deceased dog, who's name was Violet. We always buy prisms in honor of our deceased loved ones because the kids can stand in the rainbows and get kisses from the angels. Its also a constant moving reminder of them. This was perfect and arrived so quickly, which was perfect for our grieving kids. JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you!
